Towards realization of an Energy Internet: Designing distributed energy systems using game-theoretic approach

Distributed energy systems play a significant role in the integration of renewable technologies. The Energy Internet links fleet distributed to each other and with grid. Interactions between via information sharing could significantly enhance efficiency their real-time operation. However, privacy security concerns hinder such interactions. A game-theoretic approach can help this regard, enable consideration some these factors when maintaining interactions systems. Although is used understand systems' operation, complex are not considered at early design phase, leading many practical problems, often suboptimal designs. present study introduces that enables among phase. Three different architectures study, i.e., eystem prior grid (ESPG), fully cooperative (FCS), non-cooperative (NCS) scenarios, which system taken as an agent. novel optimization algorithm developed for both FCS NCS. reveals NCS reduce cost, respectively, by 30% 15% compared ESPG. In addition cost reduction, there change moving from clearly indicating requirement scenario lies FCS. This will lead reducing costs while privacy.
